Dobbertin Performance introduces a One-Off – Removable – Transferable Power-Pack Assembly that can be switched from one vehicle to another in a matter of hours!

It's a Frame Inside a Fame!

 

The black part of the steel frame is welded into the project vehicle.

The drivetrain components are mounted onto the aluminum inner frame.

 

Remove the twelve mounting bolts and the entire aluminum frame and drivetrain drop out of the rear of the car in one piece!

 

Many of us have dreamed of such a design, but to my knowledge, 

This is the only one that's ever been offered to the public.

And when this one is gone... it's gone.

 

This unit comes without the engine and transmission.

The crossmember and engine mounts are set up for a GM LS Engine.

Of course, other V-8s can also be mounted.

 

The (mostly universal) adjustable rear transmission mount will work with 

many transaxles, such as:

Audi, Porsche, Weddle, Mendeola, or Corvair.

Imagine having several custom creations and only needing to buy one drivetrain.

 

Let's face it, the engine and transmission combo is usually the most expensive part of a project –

so why not have one engine / transmission assembly that

will fit in more than one vehicle?

 

We do that with our lawnmowers, leaf blowers, drills, saws and grinders...

That's the same idea behind our Mid-Engine Power-Pack.

 

We designed this with the Auto / Bike Enthusiast in mind who has a lot of ideas,

but not a lot of working capital.

as I have about 70 hours of designing and labor in this one alone.
